Lowe’s of Waco Safety Saturday

Lowe’s of Waco hosted their Safety Saturday on October 19th. The One Stop was invited to attend this great event. They had representatives from a Waco Fire, Police, EMS, and other local organizations talking about safety in the home and our community. They also had various games and prizes as well. We had Program Manager Bobbi Stewart, Assistant Peer Service Coordinator Taylor, and MVPN volunteers Karen and her husband Kenny at our informational booth spreading the good word about the One Stop!

-A wood building station where kids were able to build their own firetrucks, racecars, and more!

-A real live firetruck, provided by Waco Fire Department

-A great turn out at our local Lowe’s

-A bounce-house for the kids and a snow-cone truck for the unexpected hot weather!
